Live Streaming & Creator Platform Development
Live streaming apps, subscriptions and revenue-share payouts for sports programs, creators and shows.
Go live. Get paid. Every month.
For Media & Streaming teams.
We build live streaming and creator platforms for sports programs, creators and shows: the apps fans watch on, the subscriptions that pay for them and the revenue-share engine that pays creators. DubCam, where 50% of every subscription goes to the creator a fan picks, runs on this stack.
Live streaming apps for iOS, Android and web
Go live from a phone, with adaptive-bitrate playback on iOS, Android and web and recordings for on-demand replays.
Subscriptions, paywalls and free previews
Subscriptions, paywalls and timed free previews (DubCam gives fans 10 minutes) across the app stores and the web.
Automated revenue share and creator payouts
Per-subscriber attribution to the creator each fan chooses, with payouts on a fixed schedule and a statement for every creator.
Creator dashboards and audience analytics
Dashboards for creators’ streams, subscribers and earnings, plus audience analytics for the platform team.

Payments and rights, handled.
Streaming platforms live by app-store rules, payout obligations and content rights. We plan for all three before the first stream.
App store billing
Apple requires in-app purchase for subscriptions that unlock content in an iOS app, with narrow exceptions. We set pricing and the creator split around store fees from day one.

Payouts run through a payments provider that handles creator onboarding, identity checks and tax forms, so the platform never pays out informally.
Rights and moderation
Upload rules, reporting tools and takedown workflows, plus admin controls for school and club programs.
Published prices. Fixed after discovery.
Media & Streaming projects follow the same model as every Apptycoons engagement: a 2-week Discovery Sprint, then a 6–16 week fixed-price build, billed in milestones. Go live first with streaming, subscriptions and creator attribution; tips, pay-per-view and TV apps can wait for the second release.
Scope, architecture and a fixed quote for the build. The fee is credited to your build.
Your first release, delivered in demoed milestones, with 30 days of support after launch.
A dedicated squad for ongoing roadmap work once the first release is live.
What moves the price for Media & Streaming projects
- Live or on-demandLow-latency live streaming costs more to build and run than uploads.
- MonetizationSubscriptions, tips, pay-per-view and revenue share each add billing and payout logic.
- ScaleConcurrent viewers drive streaming costs more than build costs.
Common questions.
Can you handle live video at scale?
Yes. We use proven streaming infrastructure with adaptive bitrate, low-latency playback and recording for on-demand replays.
How are creator payouts handled?
Revenue is attributed per subscriber and paid out automatically on a schedule, with full reporting for each creator.
How does DubCam’s revenue share work?
Fans pick who they support at sign-up and pay monthly. 50% of every subscription is attributed to that creator and paid out on the 1st of each month, with no minimum threshold.
Do app store fees apply to subscriptions?
On iOS, Apple requires in-app purchase for subscriptions that unlock content in the app, with narrow exceptions such as reader apps. We decide with you whether the creator split is taken before or after store fees, and model both before launch.
How much does streaming software development cost?
Builds are quoted at a fixed price within our $25k–$120k range after a $5,000 Discovery Sprint. For streaming projects, live versus on-demand video, the monetization mix and expected concurrent viewers decide where yours lands.
